Connector and Terminal Information
Removal
- Remove the IMT system actuator.
(Refer to Intelligent Manual Transaxle (IMT) Control System - "IMT System Actuator")
- Loosen the bolts and then replace the gear position switch (A).
Tightening torque : 39.2 - 58.8 N.m (4.0 - 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4 lb-ft)
Installation
- To install, reverse the removal procedures.

When lifting a vehicle using a lift, be careful not to damage the
lower parts of the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel
tank, canister).

Disconnect the intake actuator connector.
Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh air position when
connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding ter
