Hyundai Tucson: Active Air Flap (AAF) Actuator

Hyundai Tucson - Fourth generation (NX4) - (2020-2023) - Workshop Manual / Engine Mechanical System / Cooling System / Active Air Flap (AAF) Actuator

Remove the front bumper.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "Front Bumper Cover")
Disconnect the active air flap connector (A).

Remove the active air flap actuator (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Timing System - Removal

Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Turn the crankshaft damper pulley clockwise, and align its groove with the timing mark of the timing chain cover. Remove the timing chain cover. (Refer to Timing System - "Timing C
